Bee Window adds Bathroom Remodeling

Bee Window is be adding another piece to its growing portfolio of home improvement solutions; acrylic bath liners.

These liners are an affordable alternative to many of the alternatives facing homeowners, such as replacing existing bathtubs with fiberglass liners, reglazing old tubs, laying ceramic or marble tile, or even doing a complete bathroom remodel.

Why this particular new product line for a company known for exterior work?

Bee Window founder and co-owner George Faerber says that bathroom and kitchen remodeling have always been two of the best investments that homeowner’s can make to the interior of their home. “We’ve always focused on exterior improvements; siding, windows, doors and so on.” He also points out that, for many years, the company has been a Four Seasons Sunrooms dealer.

“Well, for years we’ve had customers asking if we do other interior work, like kitchen and bathroom remodeling,” Faerber notes. “There’s been a trend recently of people looking at room additions and porch conversions to use as extra living space for elderly parents or other family members. It made sense to us to look into bathroom and kitchen conversions.”

After talking to other home improvement peers around the country, Faerber found a company to partner with—a manufacturer of acrylic bathtub liners. “They have a product that’s truly high quality,” Faerber says, “and that’s what Bee Window customer’s expect.”

The new product line offers custom-made acrylic tub liners that are as durable as they are beautiful. The tough acrylic liners won’t chip of fade, and they are easy to clean and maintain, while also providing protection against mold and mildew.

The versatility of the new systems also played a role in Bee Window’s decision to pick up the new line. They can offer remedies to old, unsightly bathtubs, handle tub-to-shower conversions, and offer a wide range of options such as built-in seating and handles, even flat transitions for wheelchair accessibility.
